Voici la page pour le vocabulaire informatique :
- CAM : continuous aware mode, mode d'utilisation de l'alimentation électrique en cas de branchement permanent à une source d'alimentation électrique ;
- NIC : network interface card, carte d'interface réseau
- PSP : power save poll, mode d'utilisation de l'alimentation électrique pour des matériels fonctionnant sur batterie.
Les différents réseaux :
- BUS :
- CAN : controller area network, réseau utilisé dans l'industrie, notamment dans l'automobile ;
- GAN : global area network, interconnexion de réseaux wifi ;
- LAN : local area network ou réseau local, en entreprise notamment ;
- MAN : metropolitan area network ; est comme un LAN mais à l'échelle d'une agglomération ;
- PAN : personnal area network ou réseau personnel ou à domicile ;
- SAN : storage area network, ou réseau de stockage ;
- WAN : wide area network ou réseau étendu.
